He played a significant role in the Internal Control and Compliance Division (ICCD) before being joined as the Head of Finance & Accounts (FAD).
He is also a Tax & VAT consultant for the Dhaka Metro Rail project and a key contributor to www.bdtaxmaster.com, an online tax platform in Bangladesh. since 2019 he is contributing ICAB as Tax and Corporate law Committee member.
In addition, Shakhawat is a lecturer at ICAB and an active committee member of various committees of ICAB, committed to advancing the accounting profession.
