Ms. Fatama Khatun is a Partner at Rahman Mostafa Alam & Co. (RMA), Chartered Accountants, and an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB). With a strong foundation in banking and finance, Ms. Fatama has accumulated over nine years of professional experience, primarily in banking, where she honed her skills in a variety of areas including IAS/IFRS compliance, auditing, income tax, corporate laws, financial reporting, and management reporting.
Her career began in the banking sector, where she gained expertise in budgetary control systems, project appraisal, and investment decisions, all of which equipped her with a deep understanding of financial operations, governance, and risk management. Ms. Fatama’s experience includes managing the regulatory reporting and MIS functions at ONE Bank PLC, where she served as the Unit Head for MIS and Regulatory Reporting at the Corporate Headquarters’ Finance Division. During this time, she was responsible for ensuring compliance with industry regulations and streamlining reporting processes, contributing to the bank’s efficient financial management.
Her comprehensive understanding of banking operations and financial regulations has allowed her to apply her expertise effectively in her role at Rahman Mostafa Alam & Co., where she now leads the firm’s audit, tax, and financial consulting services.
